We may not be the cheapest contractor in town, but every project we do is of the highest quality and we will bring both professionalism and beauty to your home. We handle many small projects such as building in bookcases, replacing mantlepieces, or any other small carpentry job around the house, however, we also handle room additions, kitchen remodeling projects, bathroom remodeling projects, and any other household project that you want to create your dream home.
STARNES-CREWS BUILDERS prides itself on our quality of service to our customers. Whether you are looking for a room addition, kitchen remodel, or a simple repair job our trained union carpenters can be trusted in your home. We get the job done professionally and as quickly as possible.
My name is Matt Crews. I am the owner of Starnes-Crews Builders, the crew chief, and the overseer of your project. I've been a union carpenter since 1976 and I work as a general contractor to handle all the different trades needed to complete your job. I take pride in every job we complete. Our union carpenters are trained at the union's school, serve a four year apprenticeship, continually get annual safety training, and go through regular and random drug tests.
We are an EPA certified contractor in the RRP program to safely work on older homes that contain lead paint contaminants. We consider your family's safety a top priority.
If you own a historic home, staying in compliance with codes - or simply keeping an authentic look - requires a skilled carpenter. We can help you achieve an authentic, code-compliant upgrade to your home while implementing modern technology to make your home more energy efficient and safer.
